MetaMETAL

MetaMETAL is a revolutionary new kind of material for the engraving industry.

Most of today's engraving machines aren't designed to routinely cut steel. It's hard on the machines, and hard on cutters that wear and break while machining. Consequently, few engravers offer their customers the option of deeply engraving metal materials.

Until now. MetaMETAL is a material with two distinct states. You purchase plates of the material in a form in which it is very easy to cut. It cuts as easily as the easiest plastics with standard cutting tools and machines. You can also laser engrave the material, and with 3D laser engraving create highly detailed reliefs.

Once you are done creating items from the metaMETAL material, simply send them in to a metaMETAL processing center where the parts are directly transformed into solid stainless steel. Every detail is preserved.

The resulting parts are composed of 100% 316L stainless steel. This is among the most corrosion resistant grades of stainless, and is commonly used in medical, chemical, pharmaceutical, marine, and foodservice applications.
